Overview
Welcome to Velour Lux. These Terms of Service govern your use of our website and purchases made through it. Please read them together with our Refund and Exchange Policy, Shipping Policy, Privacy Policy, and Cookie Policy.
Velour Lux is our trading brand. The website is operated by [insert legal entity responsible for operating the website]. Products may be sold by Velora Ventures LLC in the United States or [confirmed Trinidad legal entity] in Trinidad and Tobago. The legal seller for your order will be clearly identified before you pay and in your order confirmation. In these Terms, “we,” “us,” and “our” mean the website operator for website matters and the identified seller for your purchase. The use of a common brand does not make every associated company a party to your order.
These Terms apply to customers, visitors, account holders, and people submitting content. When you place an order or otherwise accept these Terms, you agree to comply with them. If you do not agree, please do not place an order or use features requiring your acceptance. Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts rights or remedies that applicable law does not permit us to exclude or restrict.
Section 1: Online store terms
To place an order, you must be of legal age to enter a binding contract where you live, or the purchase must be made by a parent or legal guardian. You must have authority to use the payment method supplied and, when purchasing for a business, authority to act for that business.
You may use our website and products only for lawful purposes. You must not introduce malicious code, misuse another person’s account, or interfere with the website or its security. We may restrict access for violations as described in Section 16.
Section 2: General conditions and intellectual property
We may decline a transaction or restrict website access for legitimate reasons, including suspected fraud, security concerns, unlawful conduct, stock limitations, or inability to serve a destination, subject to applicable law. We do not reserve a right to discriminate unlawfully.
Our branding, logos, product photographs, written content, and website design belong to us or our licensors, unless otherwise stated. You may browse the site and retain information reasonably needed for your purchase or lawful use. You may not copy or commercially exploit protected content without permission, except as permitted by law. These provisions do not restrict honest reviews or other lawful use.
Website headings are included for convenience and do not change the meaning of these Terms.
Section 3: Website information and hair care guidance
We aim to provide accurate, useful product and care information. General hair care, styling, and installation guidance is not a substitute for advice tailored to your hair, scalp, or intended treatment by a suitably qualified professional.
Check the product description, measurements, care instructions, and order details before purchasing. Contact us if a specification is unclear. We will address material errors as described in Section 11. This section does not excuse a misleading product description or remove any promise or legal obligation relating to your purchase.
Section 4: Prices and changes to the website
Prices, promotions, and availability may change for future orders. Changes do not automatically change the price or terms of an order we have already accepted. Any proposed material change to an accepted order will be communicated to you and handled with your agreement or as required by law.
The currency, item price, shipping charges, applicable taxes, and any charges collected by us will be shown before payment. Where import duties, taxes, or clearance charges are payable separately on an international shipment, the checkout or Shipping Policy will explain who is responsible. Your bank or payment provider may apply its own currency conversion rate or fees.
We may update, suspend, or discontinue website features. Doing so does not remove our obligations concerning existing orders or any rights you have under applicable law.
Section 5: Products and exchanges
Our range may include human-hair bundles, wigs, closures, frontals, and related products. The description for each product specifies what is being offered. Natural hair may vary in shade, pattern, and appearance, and screen settings can affect displayed colors. Reasonable natural variation does not excuse a product being defective, materially different from its description, or otherwise nonconforming.
Please inspect your order promptly and, where practicable, before washing, installing, coloring, bleaching, cutting, or otherwise altering it. Follow the supplied care instructions, including washing before use. Professional installation or coloring may be appropriate. Damage caused by improper care or alteration is distinct from a defect present when supplied; alteration does not automatically eliminate rights concerning an unrelated defect.
We do not offer refunds for change-of-mind purchases. This does not affect refunds required by applicable law or these Terms. Retail and wholesale customers may request an exchange for a different length only if the product remains unopened, unused, unworn, unwashed, and unaltered, with its original labels and bundle ties intact. Proof of purchase is required, and eligibility is subject to inspection and replacement availability. Retail defect-related exchange requests are assessed case by case, without limiting any legally required remedy. Exchange requests under our voluntary policy must be made within five calendar days of delivery or collection. This is the deadline to request an exchange, not the deadline for the returned goods to arrive. This five-day request period does not shorten any non-excludable legal claim period or eliminate remedies for defects discovered later.
For a voluntary different-length exchange, customers are responsible for shipping and handling costs as set out in our Refund and Exchange Policy. Responsibility for costs relating to defective, incorrect, or otherwise nonconforming goods will be determined in accordance with applicable law. Contact us for instructions before returning goods; do not send goods to a supplier or an unconfirmed address. Full eligibility, price differences, and return instructions are set out in the Refund and Exchange Policy.
Availability may be limited. Special-order specifications, price, any deposit, expected timing, and applicable cancellation terms will be provided before you commit. A special order does not automatically make a deposit nonrefundable or remove statutory rights. If wholesale purchases are offered through this website, any separately agreed wholesale terms will be made available before purchase and will apply as described in Section 17.
Section 6: Orders billing and delivery
You must provide accurate billing, delivery, and contact information and promptly notify us of any change affecting your order. Keep your account credentials confidential and notify us if you suspect unauthorized use. Do not send payment-card details through ordinary email, contact forms, or messaging services.
An automated order-receipt message confirms receipt, not acceptance, unless it expressly says otherwise. An order is accepted when we send an express acceptance or dispatch confirmation, whichever occurs first. Payment processing alone does not constitute acceptance. If we cannot accept an order after taking payment, we will notify you and refund the amount collected for the unaccepted order promptly as required by law.
We may apply reasonable quantity limits or request verification to protect against fraud. We will contact you if a proposed change affects your order. We will not substitute a materially different product or impose an additional charge without your agreement.
Shipping destinations, charges, processing estimates, and delivery arrangements are described in our Shipping Policy and at checkout. Dispatch estimates and carrier delivery estimates are different. If we cannot ship within the promised period, we will provide the notices, cancellation options, and refunds required by applicable law. For orders covered by the U.S. Mail, Internet, or Telephone Order Merchandise Rule, we comply with its shipment timing, delay-consent, and refund requirements.
Please contact us promptly if an order is missing, damaged, or incorrect, with the order number and available supporting information. Carrier or customs delays do not automatically remove our obligations to you. The Shipping Policy must be read subject to your non-excludable rights.
Section 7: Optional tools and platform services
We may make third-party features available, such as payment processing, shipment tracking, or booking tools. These features may have their own terms and privacy notices, which should be reviewed before use. Third-party features may change or become unavailable.
We do not control every third-party system or guarantee uninterrupted access to it. This does not exclude our responsibility for our own conduct or obligations, including obligations concerning purchases made from us. No statement in these Terms guarantees that a particular payment method, provider, or platform is available in every country.
Section 8: Third party links and service providers
Links to independent websites are provided for convenience and do not necessarily constitute an endorsement. We do not control those websites’ content, products, or practices. Review the relevant provider’s terms before dealing with it.
If an independent stylist or other service provider is listed or linked, the identity of the provider and any separate service terms should be checked before booking. Purchasing hair from us does not itself include installation or another professional service unless expressly stated. Nothing in this section excludes responsibility that the law places on us for services we supply or arrange.
Section 9: Reviews feedback and submissions
You retain ownership of the reviews, photographs, and other content you submit. When you submit content for public posting on our website, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, display, and make technical formatting changes to that content for operating the website and displaying your submission. We will not materially change the meaning of a review. This license does not authorize unrelated advertising use of your image or private correspondence without separate permission.
Submit only content you have the right to share, and obtain permission from identifiable people where required. Do not disclose someone else’s private information or submit unlawful, infringing, threatening, or malicious content. We may moderate content on lawful grounds, including privacy, relevance, or authenticity concerns, but will not remove or penalize an honest review merely because it is negative. These Terms do not transfer ownership of your reviews to us or prevent you from sharing honest opinions elsewhere.
Unsolicited suggestions do not create an obligation to pay compensation or implement an idea unless we separately agree. Personal information remains subject to our Privacy Policy.
Section 10: Personal information
Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information is collected, used, disclosed, and handled. Our Cookie Policy explains the use of cookies and similar technologies. Please review them before providing personal information.
These Terms do not replace any consent or choice required for particular data uses, cookies, or marketing communications. No website or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure. Please use the designated checkout and approved contact channels rather than sending sensitive payment information in messages.
Section 11: Errors inaccuracies and omissions
We may correct errors in prices, descriptions, promotions, availability, or shipping information. If an error materially affects an order, we will notify you and explain the available options. We will not use a correction to impose a higher price or a materially different product without your agreement.
If an order must be canceled and payment has been taken, any refund due will be made promptly in accordance with applicable law. An error notice does not remove rights arising from misleading information, an accepted order, or applicable consumer law.
Section 12: Prohibited uses
You must not use the website to commit fraud; infringe intellectual property; impersonate another person; unlawfully collect personal information; send spam or malicious code; obtain unauthorized access; interfere with security; or threaten, unlawfully harass, or abuse others.
Automated access that disrupts the website or unlawfully extracts protected content or personal information is prohibited. These restrictions do not prohibit lawful accessibility tools, honest consumer reviews, legitimate complaints, or exercising legal rights.
Section 13: Website availability warranties and liability
We do not promise that the website will always be uninterrupted or free from technical errors. To the extent permitted by applicable law, website functionality and general informational content are provided on an “as available” basis. This qualification does not apply to express product descriptions, specific promises we make, or warranties and remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
We do not guarantee a particular styling result, wear period, or outcome after coloring or other treatment unless we expressly provide that guarantee. Product suitability depends on the stated specifications and proper use and care. This does not excuse defective or misdescribed goods.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses that are not reasonably foreseeable from our breach. We do not exclude or limit liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Nothing in these Terms makes every purchase “as is” or removes your right to a legally required refund, replacement, repair, or other remedy.
Section 14: Responsibility for unlawful misuse
You are responsible for your own unlawful misuse of the website or infringement of another person’s rights. We reserve any remedies available under applicable law for resulting harm. This section does not require consumers to defend us, reimburse losses caused by our own conduct, or give up statutory rights. Any separate business-to-business indemnity must be expressly agreed in the applicable wholesale agreement.
Section 15: Severability
If a provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, it will apply only to the extent lawfully permitted or be severed where necessary. The remaining provisions will continue to apply unless doing so would be unlawful or fundamentally change the agreement.
Section 16: Suspension and termination
You may stop using the website at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for a material breach, suspected fraud, unlawful activity, or a security risk. Where reasonable and lawful, we will provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue; urgent protective action may be necessary without advance notice.
Suspending an account does not erase outstanding orders, payments due, accrued rights, or our obligations to provide legally required remedies. Provisions that by their nature continue after termination, including accrued payment obligations and intellectual property protections, remain effective to the extent permitted by law.
Section 17: Entire agreement and policy priority
These Terms, the policies expressly incorporated here, and the order details accepted by you form the agreement for use of the website and the relevant purchase. A separately signed agreement may govern a particular wholesale or other business transaction to the extent it expressly says so. Mandatory legal rights take priority over all contractual terms.
Specific agreed order terms take priority over conflicting general provisions. The Refund and Exchange Policy and Shipping Policy provide operational detail but cannot remove protections stated in these Terms or required by law. These Terms do not exclude reliance on representations or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded. A delay in enforcing a right does not waive that right.
Section 18: Governing law and resolving concerns
For orders sold by Velora Ventures LLC, the governing law is [insert confirmed U.S. state], together with applicable federal law. For orders sold by [confirmed Trinidad legal entity], the governing law is Trinidad and Tobago law. Website-use matters are governed by [insert law applicable to the confirmed website operator].
These choices do not deprive consumers of mandatory protections or rights to bring claims in a court available to them under applicable law. These Terms do not impose mandatory arbitration, an exclusive distant forum, or a waiver of class proceedings.
Please contact us using the details below if you have a concern so we can try to resolve it. Contacting us is not a condition that prevents you from approaching a regulator, payment provider, or court, or exercising any other lawful remedy.
Section 19: Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms for future website use and purchases and will show the revised effective date. Material changes will be brought to your attention where required by law, and we will obtain renewed acceptance where needed.
Changes do not retroactively alter an existing order without your agreement unless required by law. The version accepted for your order continues to govern that order. You may save or print these Terms for your records.
